If you haven't attended before, then hello and welcome to the site, where we aim to give you a little insight into what you can expect at our upcoming events. By scrolling down on the main page you'll be able to see some of previous footage and competition winners....
Spotlight Presents events are based on fresh talents competing for prizes such as free studio time at Disturbing London Studios (home to Tinie Tempah, GFrSh and more), magazine publications and more, as well as, giving a show to our audience. Contestants have a short time frame to deliver their own material to compete to get to the next round in front of specially selected judges. Poet Suli Breaks who has made quite a name for his amazing poetry on YouTube and World Star Hip Hop is a regular member on our judging panel! (http://www.sulibreaks.com/)
Our final winner and two runner ups will win prizes on the night and we also offer a open mic session to any of those talents in the crowd that are not taking part in the competition. Our previous events have been in Bethnal Green and Blackheath, and this year Islington. We like to move to different London locations to give a chance for local talent to be involved.
We welcome a special guest performer on the evening. Previously we've showcased Lovelle, who performed at our very first Spotlight event and we had her back at this years Spotlight.
